Battery maintenance
Group ENELT performs a range of works on servicing batteries with free electrolyte.
Types of work performed on servicing batteries:
1. Testing
• Measuring the voltage at the AB poles.
• Measuring the voltage at individual AB elements.
• Measuring the AB surface temperature.
• Cleaning AB elements from dirt.
• Measuring the temperature in the room with the installed AB (battery, rectifier).
• Determining the AB capacity using the test method (method of determining the battery condition with a two-hour discharge with a current of 0.1*C10).Visual inspection of the AB bolted connections.
• Inspection of the tightening torque of the AB bolted connections.
• Visual inspection of the AB location.
• Visual inspection of the ventilation of the battery room.
• Inspection of the AB insulation resistance.
• Inspection of the actual AB capacity (control discharge).
2. Restoring battery capacity
Conducting a training cycle of charging and discharging the battery.
3. Charging batteries Group ENELT recharges batteries on specially designed equipment
4. Battery desulfation
As practice shows, 80% of lead batteries fail due to the phenomenon of sulfation (formation of lead sulfate deposited on the surface of the negatively charged plate and water. As a result, the density of the electrolyte drops).
Group ENELT helps to return batteries to working condition. Desulfation is carried out using a charge with a small stabilized current.
• Battery charging capacity from 10 to 2000 Ah.
• Voltage of rechargeable batteries 2, 6, 12, 24, 48 V.
