Local distribution boards (LDB)
Local distribution boards (LDB) are designed to supply AC power to machine and unit control circuits, heating arrangements, SWYD isolators, RTZO-type power assemblies (unilateral- maintenance three-phase distribution assemblies for gate valves), rectifier battery chargers, outdoor lighting systems, heating and ventilating systems, protective relays, and telecontrol and communication equipment.
Local distribution boards (LDB) will offer he following services:
- Reception of AC power;
- Distribution of AC power between consumers;
- Protecting consumers and outgoing lines against SC and overload currents;
- Automatic circuit breaker switch-on whenever loss of power occurs at one of the inputs
Local distribution boards are installed in enclosures made by ENELT Group Co. Ltd. and third-party manufacturers: Prisma Plus P, Triline- R, Rittal, Sarel, etc.
Based on design specification, local distribution boards can have front or front-rear access, and can be powered via implicit or explicit reserve circuits.
